No one is addressing how we can help addicted smokers quit!
Instead of just banning where they can smoke, shouldn’t we be offering them assistance in the form of stop smoking clinics. We need to be proactive, not just think that increasing tobacco excise and increasing ‘no smoking’ areas is going to fix the problem. While there are smokers and tobacco…our youth is going to keep experimenting with tobacco, and we all know that 50% of those that try it will become addicted and very quickly.
